Christmas Shopping

I used to be one of the hoards of “Christmas Wasps” who, on December the 23rd, decided to put on far too many warm clothes and desperately descend on the local shopping center, in the vain attempt of finding a bit of useless tat to give to my family and friends for Christmas. I can feel my blood starting to boil just remembering these days of trolley bashing, umbrella stabbing, toe treading rudeness that began the festive season. I simply can’t understand why so many people manage to end up in this situation and why people in general feel it is necessary to leave things until the last minute. Is there anyone who enjoys this day of shopping misery?

A few years back me and Mrs Dozza decided we were going to get EVERYTHING purchased and wrapped before December the 1st, then we could enjoy the whole build up to Christmas without having the “shopping day of doom” waiting to spoil our Christmas fun.  We tried it, it worked for us, and i will never go back to my old ways.

Good luck this year Christmas Wasps.
