The difference between BANS and PHP Pro is the footprint - If you install BANS out of the box and do not make any modifications your site will most likely get de-indexed, especially if you have products on the home page.

I have about 10 php pro sites and about 30 BANS that bring me an average of a grand a month - the majority comes from BANS though, and be careful, Google will de-index your php pro sites too with no remorse - I had a nice PR-4 php site making me killer money - then it was gone from Google, along with a couple hundred a month I was getting from Google search traffic :(

@Steve

What specific method does BANS use that makes you think it wont last long?

I've heard a great deal of affiliate marketeers/SEO's give the thumbs up on phpbay. Am considering both options.

This is all good BUT you will need some actual proper content to go alongside all your product listings otherwise surely Google will block your Ebay niche site, right? Thats my experience with BANS in most cases.

phpBay Pro looks like a great soft. A friend of mine (eBay affiliate) have around 100 websites filled with eBay products. I will tell him about the script, hope he can make his life easier.
